JERRY'S MUSIC
Jerry Pia has written, arranged and recorded a number of original songs, some of which can be heard on his first CD "It's All About Love," recorded at Back Pocket Studio in New York City, with his friend, the engineering wizard Rich Oliver.    His first love is acoustic guitar, but now Jerry writes almost exclusively on the piano. And though he loves to play one of his vintage electric guitars, his favorite instrument during writing and recording is the synthesizer. "The uses for various orchestral sounds... strings, especially cellos; and horns, especially flute and oboe, make recording so much fun.  The layers and backgrounds are just amazing to be able to do.  I can listen to the backgrounds all day!"  His smooth ballads, upbeat songs and inspired spirituals (Jerry's CD "Footprints")  reflect his passion for life.

"SlikStuf," Jerry's band, has extremely talented musical artists, including bassist-vocalist Dom Yorfino, lead guitarist Tony Truglia, drummer-vocalist Joe Roberti, keyboardist-vocalist, Bob Falcone and Sax players John Saxon and Dave Salivsky. "SlikStuf" plays Jerry's Original songs, using Big Band, Rock n Roll, R n B, Blues and Latin influences. Jerry is currently recording with the band, a second album entitled "If You Belonged To Me."  The 14 song CD will be recorded in several NYCity Recording Studios, as well as Stamford's Carriage House as Jerry re-unites with Engineers Rich Oliver and John Montagnese.  "SlikStuf" just played at Stamord's ALIVE AT FIVE outdoor Concert with Dennis DeYoung of Styxx!!! and at the SE4A Palace Theatre Show with Felix Cavelieere's Rascals on October 28th.  See the Christmas Show page for the Band's Christmas performances in 2010 and 2011.  The SHOWs are FANASTIC and the band received RAVE reviews. Jerry will also be recording a ChristmasTime 3 album, to be released in 2012.   And two Music Videos.... "Smokey Joe's Cafe" and "Hey! GPop!"  Please see the other pages for pictures.
